Those of you who know me know how much I absolutely hate seeing people scammed out of money, especially when it comes to business opportunities or money-making opportunities.  Sadly, my own experience has been that for every one legitimate business opportunity, there seems to be thousands of illegitimate ones.  In many cases, calling these illegitimate ones “scams” doesn’t begin to describe them).  I’m sorry to report that Survey Affiliate Pro most definitely falls into the category of the latter, and in some very blatant ways!

For those of you who don’t know me, before reading on, please note that this is not the kind of obviously-biased review in which I spend a lot of time and energy bashing someone else’s product or service only to promote my own offer.  Of course I have my own products and services and affiliate offers from hundreds of sites all over the internet.  However, I don’t have anything that competes with what Survey Affiliate Pro claims to do, nor do I want to.  My purpose here is merely to try to do the right thing by giving you an accurate, no-BS assessment of what I know and what I saw in a webinar today.

Survey Affiliate Pro: “Traffic Phoenix” Re-Branded

Survey Affiliate Pro is a SCAM in a VERY major way.  In almost every detail, it appears to be the same software as Traffic Phoenix, another scam piece of software that the same guy put out not too long ago.  The 2-hour webinar/sales-pitch promotes the exact same functionality as Traffic Phoenix.  Survey Affiliate Pro is pitched for the exact same price as was Traffic Phoenix ($997).  The sales-pitch suggests that only 15 licenses are available, (a blatant lie, as they have done many webinars with the same pitch).

Survey Affiliate Pro Pitch From “Charlie”

Best of all, Survey Affiliate Pro is promoted by the same person who was promoting “Traffic Phoenix”, a British scam artist who identifies himself only as “Charlie”.  Admittedly, Charlie is a very well-spoken man who appears to be quite intelligent.  It’s unfortunate that he’s chosen to use his gifts “for evil instead of for good”, because with his demeanor, he could make just as much money or more through an honorable life rather than giving the online business opportunity niche yet another black eye!

What really gets me about this type of pitch is how easily people are apparently suckered into forking over $1,000 to someone who hasn’t established ANY credibility for himself other than a few alleged screen-shots showing supposed results from ClickBank.  These unsuspecting people apparently have no idea that such “screenshots” can be easily pulled off of Google Images.  Bless their hearts!  It never occurs to them to do any kind of research on this guy or his product before blindly throwing their money at him!  Even if the screen shots truly are actual representations of what this guy is making, since we know that he’s a flim-flam artist, all he’s doing is documenting the degree to which he is screwing people!

For example, their first clue that something has to be wrong is the fact that he never gives out his last name.  What’s with that?  When a pitchman goes out of his way to leave out his or her last name, that is a HUGE give-away that something is wrong, Ladies & Gentlemen!

Get this:  Even in the webinar, at the bottom of the webinar where it shows the name of the person talking, it said, “Mystery Man”!  I have to tell you, this really speaks volumes about what’s really going on, Folks. 

Are you kidding???  You want a thousand dollars from me, and you can’t even tell me your last name???

How is it that people get away with this?  Where do they find people willing to do that???  Can you even imagine that happening offline?  Of course not!  Folks, if you didn’t even read the rest of this review, isn’t this enough?  The man is hiding!  Isn’t that a clue???

Dear Reader, think hard.  Look at the following picture, and remember what you were thinking the last time you saw a guy just like this:

If this man came up to you in person and wanted $1,000 of your hard-earned money, and wasn’t even willing to give you their last name, is there ANY chance that you’d give that person your money, no matter how impressed you were with that person?  I think not!  Then why would you give that money to someone on the other side of the computer screen who clearly wants to remain anonymous???  Have you figured out by now why he wants to remain anonymous?  It’s because he doesn’t want to have to run when he cheats you out of your money!!!

So, let’s do things the way that you’d do them in real life when you consider doing business with someone.  Let’s check out the company history.  Let’s check out the reputation of the person pitching you on this alleged $1,000 software miracle.  I don’t know about you, but when I’m determining whether or not I want to do business with a company or individual, if I can’t find anything on that person due to insufficient data, I won’t risk my money.  Would you?  So, let’s see….

Company History: Survey Affiliate Pro

So what do we know about the company?  Well, not much actually, because that’s also information our new best friend “Charlie” leaves out.  All we do know is that “Charlie” is the same pitch-man behind the huge flop called “Traffic Phoenix“, and the only reason we know that is because some of us old dogs in the business recognize the guy’s voice and his sales pitch.  So… OK… at least we can consider the performance of the guy’s previous creation.

A simple Google search for “Traffic Phoenix” reveals loads of information.  The only people who have anything good to say about it are people who are trying to make money from it in a BS “review”.  All other information you find on Traffic Phoenix is all bad. (The same is also true for a Google search on Survey Affiliate Pro, by the way.)

From our own experience, Traffic Phoenix never worked… not even for a day, nor did it ever work for anyone I know.  Here are some quotes about Traffic Phoenix we found elsewhere online:

• “Software never worked as advertised“
• “Can’t reach anyone to get a refund“
• “No one is responding…”

How about that for a company history?  No thanks.

How About “Charlie”?

Nothing.  We don’t have any way of checking out “Charlie”, because all we know is that he speaks with a British accent, and claims to be in the United Kingdom.  This ambiguity is clearly intentional, obviously to avoid exactly what we are trying to do here – which is to ascertain if a legitimate opportunity is being offered to make money online.  If we know Charlie’s last name, then we could obviously find bad reviews about him when he scams people out of money only to disappear into anonymity behind your computer screen.

What About The Payment Processor For Survey Affiliate Pro?

The payment processing company for Survey Affiliate Pro is SWREG, which is not only the same processing company that was used for Traffic Phoenix, but appears to be the preferred payment processing company for all things scam on the internet!  SWREG is one of the most difficult – if not the most difficult – payment processor from which you can attempt to get a refund, which is EXACTLY why all of the top scam artists love them!  No legitimate processing company will do business with Charlie or anyone like Charlie.  Legitimate payment processors value their reputation too much, and don’t want to spend all of their time fighting with honest people who have been ripped off!  SWREG, on the other hand, is just as dirty of a company as Charlie is, in my humble opinion and based on my own experience with them from some time ago, and obviously has no problems processing the proceeds of Charlie’s latest scam, Survey Affiliate Pro.

Survey Affiliate Pro vs. Traffic Phoenix

Here are just a few of the similarities that I noticed right away between the Survey Affiliate Pro Scam and the Traffic Phoenix Scam:

Functionality

As suggested above, Survey Affiliate Pro & Traffic Phoenix appear to have exactly the same alleged functionality (if it worked), which is to  automatically harass YouTube users with offers to let you put a link in the description of their videos for a little money, as though you were their Great White Hope by offering them money.  When the Traffic Phoenix craze was in its prime, YouTube users complained in droves about all of these messages they were getting that were eerily similar in nature.  Mark my words, I see another revolt on YouTube on the horizon.

Automatic Site Creation

Another similarity that Survey Affiliate Pro has with Traffic Phoenix is that with a few clicks of a mouse, this software will automatically create a website for you on your domain.  I watched this happen in real time, and was checking it in my own browser.  On the surface, to someone who doesn’t know any better and knows nothing about putting up a site, this appeared pretty impressive.  However, if you know anything about how Google works, and about the do’s and don’t's of putting up a website – even a niche site – there were several problems with what I saw.  I won’t go into detail here, but suffice it to say that in my humble opinion (based on almost two decades of experience online), automated, duplicate content is never a good thing.

Price & “Limited Offer”

Both Traffic Phoenix and Survey Affiliate Pro are promoted at the all-too-familiar price-point of $997.00.  Also, a sense of urgency to buy right away was created in both cases by Charlie’s statement that “only 15 copies will be sold”, so you should buy now before you lose your opportunity.  No time to investigate.  No time to research whether or not the offer is legit.  Just give him your money now, or forget it… another sign that Survey Affiliate Pro is a huge scam!

Seriously, I can’t believe that anyone falls for that approach anymore.  Ladies & Gentlemen, Friends & Neighbors, and whatever’s left over.  It’s software.  Just like all software, unlimited copies are available.

Any Differences?

The main difference that I can see between Survey Affiliate Pro & Traffic Phoenix is that Survey Affiliate Pro has a slightly different initial approach, in that it is targeting people who want to make money doing surveys.  The claim that hooks people into the webinar is that he’s going to show you in the webinar how to make just under a half million dollars per year in income doing surveys.  Apparently, people really still believe that kind of crap.  Of course, by the end of the webinar from “Mystery Man” Charlie, he tells you that Survey Affiliate Pro is really about promoting affiliate offers on YouTube, and not so much about surveys.  By the time he gets to the price (two grueling hours later), the whole survey thing is being mentioned only as an after-thought in what is obviously a feeble attempt at trying to tie into the subject that brought people to the webinar in the first place!

My Honest No-BS Advice On Survey Affiliate Pro

The button says it all, Folks.  If you see this guy coming, or anything in your email inbox about making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year doing surveys, get rid of it and run away as fast as you can!  No good can come of spending ANY more of your valuable time on this crook, let alone your hard-earned money!

Survey Affiliate Pro could just as easily be called, “Traffic Phoenix 2.0“, because that’s really what it is.  Please, PLEASE heed my warning about the Survey Affiliate Pro Scam:  From everything I’ve seen, heard and experienced, EVERYTHING THAT COMES OUT OF MYSTERY MAN CHARLIE’S MOUTH IS A LIE!  That’s why he prefers to remain a “Mystery Man”.  Traffic Phoenix was a monumental flop that didn’t work even once, and it’s clear that “Charlie” certainly didn’t live up to his word and stand behind the product when people who bought that cheese-ball software wanted their money back when they found it didn’t work.  (After all, why should he?  He hasn’t given out his name or his company’s name, so there is no reputation to mess up by screwing everyone dumb enough to buy from him!)  Those of you who ignore my warning (and those of others online) will find yourselves with a rehashed version of non-working software for which you will never be able to get the refund you were promised.

Video: Bridge Of Light – Pink

Recently, we took my 15-year old daughter to see Happy Feet 2.  Being the old “softy” that I am, I like spending time with my family in this way, whether I enjoy the animated film or not.  However, most of the time, with very few exceptions, I find myself enjoying the film anyway!  (Yes, I admit it!)

Music being one of my passions, from time to time, truly powerful songs come along that really hit me at the very core of my being.  Some songs by Celine Dion comes to mind (“Power Of Love”).  Whitney Houston’s version of “I Will Always Love You” is also another good one. R Kelly also did a great one for the movie “Hardball” called “The Storm Is Over Now”.  I love songs like this!

To my utter surprise, this movie – a cartoon of all things – had such a song in it called Bridge Of Light.  Yep… me… Rick Upshaw, a 43-year old man, literally had goose bumps while listening to this song because of how powerful it was, especially with the imagery in the movie during the song of a mother reaching out to her husband and child, cut off from them and unable to reach them. (I’m such a sap, huh?  LOL)  I knew as soon as I heard it that I wanted to learn it, and at my first opportunity to perform it…. somewhere….. anywhere.  I’ve been burning up the YouTube views for that song ever since.  I’m listening to it now as I write this!  LOL

Alecia Moore A. K. A. "Pink"

When I got home and looked up the song on the internet, I was shocked yet again to find that it was actually Pink (whose real name is Alecia Moore) who performed the song, and voiced the part of the mother!  Now, being a country boy at heart, there aren’t a lot of her songs that I can really get into, but there are a few of her popular songs that I do like.  However, with her trademark pink hair gelled to the max and the hard songs she performs, my impression of her personna prior to this point was that of a tattooed dope-smokin’ party-girl rivaling Britney Spears from a couple of years ago and perhaps even Lady Gaga.  So to find that she was behind this song – let alone voicing the entire part of the mother – truly floored me.  Even moreso, when I saw an interview with her on YouTube (see the following two videos) discussing her task in writing the song, I have to say that I was really beside myself!

I looked at several pages online that had what was supposed to be the lyrics to this song.  Apparently, no one else paid very close attention to the words while listening to the song, because they were ALL wrong!  So I went back through the lyrics, making sure that the lyrics match up exactly with what’s actually in the song.  So, to my knowledge, this is the only 100% correct version of the lyrics to Bridge Of Light.  Enjoy!

On Trip To Spain:

Dear American Taxpayers:

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars for my vacation in Spain . My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven’t lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night suite at a 5-Star luxury hotel. Thank you also for the use of Air Force 2 and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.

Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close. That’s quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet.  I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon.  I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago.  I just had to get away for a few days!

Anthony Weiner: The Epitome Of Today’s Congress

Anthony Weiner announced today that he has been lying all along (what a shock) in that he did, in fact, send a sexually explicit and obviously inappropriate picture to a woman in Seattle.  He further admitted that this isn’t the first time, admitting that there are actually SIX women with whom he has interacted inappropriately over the internet, and that some of his behavior has even taken place after his marriage to his new bride.  Rick Upshaw comments on this latest chapter in the Weinergate Saga.

Stupidity Abounds

As someone who is somewhat computer literate, but by no means an expert/guru, I have to say that this whole thing boggles my mind – and that’s before we get to the whole issue of the lack of honor this man has!  It’s like this: whether you are actually sending pictures on Twitter or not… if you are an elected official and say that you could have been hacked, but don’t ask the F.B.I. to investigate, how can you possibly think that won’t throw up some red flags somewhere?  Coming from the perspective of someone with absolutely no moral compass whatsoever (which is obviously the case with Weiner), how could you possibly think you could lie and/or bribe your way out of that?  What pack of lies could you possibly tell that would pass muster with anyone with any common sense whatsoever?  I guess it’s like I always say:

“Never underestimate the power of stupidy.”

This philosophy hasn’t failed me yet, and it certainly applies in this case!

Seriously… how stupid can the man be? At least one of these photos was shared on twitter! Unless you know nothing about twitter, you know that other people will probably be able to see it. Would this not occur to you when sending lewd pictures of yourself to another woman who is not your wife?

Unfortunately, none of what I’m saying really matters in the grand scheme of things, does it?  At the end of the day, after all of my ranting and raving about Anthony Weiner‘s obvious lack of honor and anything resembling integrity, Anthony Weiner is a liberal Democrat with a temper, so it’s OK that he has a warped sense of right and wrong, and because of this, the last person to care about any of this would be Anthony Weiner.  I know he says he is taking responsibility for his actions, but unless he actually steps up and resigns, no words that dribble out of his mouth are going to mean anything to me or anyone else with any common sense or moral compass.  Taking responsibility for your bad behavior means that there are going to be consequences.  Integrity demands that you step up, stick your chest out and accept whatever happens.

Double Standards Abound, Too

What this “Gomer” did may not be illegal in the eyes of the law (even though it certainly ought to be), but at the very least, it is clearly unethical behavior – at least by the standards of anyone outside of the political world.  This man is married (does that even mean anything anymore?), and for some unknown reason, his wife at least appeared to be happy in the marriage. Unfortunately, in today’s society, this is what happens to people when they get too much power. People like Anthony Weiner believe they can do whatever they want and nothing is wrong with it.  If a Republican had been the one to do something this dishonorable (as has been the case just as often as the Democrats) , the Dems would have assembled the lynch mob and screaming accusations about being two-faced before the mics even warmed up at the press conference!. However, since it was a Democrat, then apparently it’s all OK, and we’re supposed to just “understand” and be compassionate about this guy’s “sickness”.  After all, no laws were broken, right?  So there is no reason for him to resign, right?  The double-standard of the liberal-left is just mind-numbing, in my humble opinion.

What bothers me is that lying to your spouse and cheating on her has somehow become the accepted norm in our society.  As much as I travel outside of the United States, I’ve almost gotten to the point where I don’t want to tell anyone I’m American anymore, because in international circles, America has become the butt of so many jokes over this very issue!  Good People, what is happening??? Where is the honor I was raised with?  I remember being whipped until black & blue over lies I told when I was a kid growing up, and in my opinion, rightfully so!!! So what are we teaching our kids today?  Why should anyone bother to get married anymore, since the whole act is one giant promise that no one seems to care about keeping!

Ladies & Gentlemen, Friends & Neighbors, the fact that this man betrayed his wife all by itself is enough reason to drive this man out of public life forever!  Why can’t we see that?  We have the right to hold our politicians to a higher standard than everyone else, and anyone not willing to be held to that higher standard shouldn’t get into politics in the first place!  Our politicians are supposed to not just represent us, but they are supposed to represent the best of us. They are supposed to be the cream of the crop in America, not an embarrassment that We The People have to make excuses for in international circles.  Now, with this latest scandal, the epitome of what America truly represents as seen by the international community will most assuredly rest in the image of Anthony Weiner as follows:

One other point (and I made this same point with Clinton and his whole joke of a presidency):  Every time Anthony Weiner put himself in front of a microphone or TV camera, he looked at us (or the interviewers) dead in the eye and denied his involvement with the same conviction that he had when standing before the camera and making any other political point he made in his entire career in Congress.  So how can We The People ever believe anything this guy says ever again?  We can’t, right?  So if that’s the case, how could ANY New York constituent of his possibly justify supporting this man, unless they are being bribed to do so?  Doesn’t that make any remaining supporters Anthony Weiner has left just as dumb – if not dumber – than he is for screwing up this badly?

My Own Humble Conclusion

If honor and integrity mean anything to anyone in Washington, someone needs to convince this pathetic excuse of a man to resign!  Anthony Weiner – not withstanding his last name – has only himself to blame for the inevitable future he has waiting for him filled with being the butt of people’s jokes and innuendo.  The most sacred vow a man can make on this earth is to his wife (although the trust placed in him by the people of New York certainly runs a close second).  I refute any argument anyone would make suggesting that a man can’t control himself.  So if a man is willing to violate the trust placed in him by his wife – let alone by the public – he doesn’t belong in any position of trust ever again.  He ought to spend the rest of his life in his mom’s basement staring at “girlie pictures” on the internet, and even then, only after being dragged through the streets tied to his wife’s bumper, and then being run out of town on a rail!

What Do You Think?

So is this guy an idiot, or is it just me?  How about the whole issue of the lack of ethics and honor – toward his constituents, and arguably more importantly, to his wife?  Has the ethical climate in our society in America truly degraded to the point where a man’s word means nothing anymore, and everyone is OK with it?
